Private Executive Office

A refined full fit-out of a private executive office within a premium Abu Dhabi commercial building, designed around the occupant's requirement for an environment that is simultaneously impressive and conducive to concentrated intellectual work. The dominant material is American walnut — used for a floor-to-ceiling run of bespoke cabinetry that wraps the full length of the rear wall, its vertical grain pattern aligned across all units to read as a single continuous composition. Behind the credenza, a central recessed panel is stone-clad in honed dark grey basalt, providing a textural counterpoint to the warm wood and serving as the principal visual backdrop for the occupant's desk position. The executive desk is a bespoke piece in bookmatched matte-lacquered walnut with a right-angle return, accommodating multiple monitor positions and concealing all cable management within the structure. Lighting is entirely linear and concealed — a warm 2700K cove at ceiling perimeter provides ambient fill, while a recessed strip within each cabinet run illuminates shelved objects without visible fixtures. The floor is laid in large-format Sahara Noir marble tiles, their black ground and fine gold veining completing a material palette of disciplined luxury.
