Private Family Residence

A whole-home interior design delivered for a private family residence in Abu Dhabi — encompassing the entrance, formal reception, open family living and dining areas, kitchen, and three private bedroom suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The design brief called for a home that would feel genuinely lived in rather than staged: warm and comfortable for daily family life, yet visually coherent and beautiful enough to receive guests with confidence. The material palette is anchored by honed Crema Marfil limestone across the ground-floor public areas, transitioning to wide-plank smoked oak engineered flooring on the upper level for warmth underfoot in the private zones. Living area furniture is upholstered in natural linen and soft boucle in warm greige tones, layered with handwoven throws and ceramic accessories sourced from regional artisans. The kitchen adopts a quieter, more functional register — handleless cabinetry in warm white lacquer with a waterfall-edge quartz island — while the master bedroom suite features a full-height fabric headboard wall, a dressing room with integrated mirror panels and smoked glass display niches, and a master bath in marbled porcelain with a freestanding soaking tub.
